Welcome to Thundersley Primary School. We hope our association with your family is a long and happy one.  

Thundersley is a Primary Academy and along with Kingston, Montgomerie and Woodham Ley Primary Schools is part of the Robus Multi Academy Trust where we firmly believe that we are stronger together. We are a warm, welcoming school at the heart of Thundersley village whose motto is ‘Be the best you can be’. We want our children to strive for success both academically and in all areas of school life and we achieve this by providing them with a rich, exciting curriculum. We love learning!

Our learning journey begins in Foundation Stage where children develop the knowledge, skills, behaviours and attitudes, enabling them to thrive through Thundersley and beyond. Your child will love our Early Year’s environment, where they can safely spread their wings, embark on fun adventures and discover the world, alongside new friends.

Our children become kind, caring responsible future citizens who respect other’s beliefs and opinions and can confidently share their own. Our School Council is key to their voices being heard - about what matters to them, and how they want to see our school improve.

Thundersley children are inspired to ‘Be the best you can be’ in sport, through taking part in local festivals, tournaments and events. Our wonderful grounds and facilities, including our very own swimming pool, are ideal for children to develop skills in all sport areas.

We wholeheartedly encourage a successful partnership with home and will involve you in all aspects of your child’s progress, so you can support them to ‘Be the best you can be.’
